Perfect Peace

Good morning,
Oh, how I want "perfect peace." And I know just where I can get it. Isaiah 26:3 When I humble myself and let go and let God. If I stay my heart on the Lord and believe that His plan for our days are so much easier to handle than mine. It never seems to fail, when I get myself out of the way and allow His holy spirit to dwell in our midst, that's when that "perfect peace" comes along and I can see it in my children and myself. Praise HIS wonderful name! Stay your heart on Him today and He will give you that "perfect peace."
Bless you~

If I could be a ... I could ...

I asked my 6 year old son today, "If you could be any animal, what animal would you want to be and what could you do if you were that animal?" Well, he sat down at his school table and drew a simple bird in the sky. And he told me, "I want to be a bird so I could fly." After thinking about his answer and his picture, it came to me. Isaiah 40:31. You see, my little guy has been struggling with learning how to read. After working with him this week and persevering through the battle and waiting on the Lord, He has renewed our strength; and now we are mounting up with wings like eagles, we are running, and no longer growing weary...Praise the LORD! Now I know why my little man would like to be a bird...He wants to soar with the LORD. And he will. He already does.
