Hi Lori, the geography fair is similar to a science fair for our local HS group. They split us up into groups based on age, then everyone sets up their projects on a table. Then each child gets a chance to present their thing, so my DD did a little talk on the 7 days of creation for the earth. Each child gets a certificate for participating, they didn't judge this.

Hi, I didn't know how to email you directly, but regarding the hot dot cards, you purchase the cold/hot dots from Lakeshore or online, then I laminated my cards FIRST, then put the dots on, they are stickers. The cold ones are 'wrong' answers the 'hot' ones are right. My son loves them! You could just as easily have them circle the right answer with a dry erase marker, or put mini-clothes pins on the right one too if you don't want to buy the pen and dots!

Hi I am newbie,

I just bought Sue Patrick's Workbox ebook last night. I am reading the book and trying to figure out how I want to impliment it all. I have a 14 yo, 10 yo, and 8 yo that I want to work this into their schedules.

Girl, you are sooooo not alone. I am right there with you. Lastnight I was reminded to just keep my focus on the Lord and by doing this the enemy won't matter because I am not focused on him at all. I am not saying you are focused on the enemy, I am just sharing what was shared with me. I love you sister and can't wait to read your next post or to see you in church!

Wow, what a great post, both yesterday and today. I am excited to see where the Lord is going to take you this your as you dig deeper into His word and knowing Him more. Keep your head up, but remember that you can still have your quiet time even with your man at home. Don't let the enemy win that battle. I say this because I know the struggles and have had to over come them as well. I will be praying for you tomorrow that the day will be more peaceful and enjoyable :)
